What is
Neo-Egyptian?
Neo-Egyptian is a combination of classic Egyptian style dance from the 1930's -
1950's (bold movement...lots of drama & face) combined with Youth Oriented
African-American dancing from the late 50's through the early '70's. These two
styles are blended in a smooth, jazzy way to give the dancer the appearance of
floating. Neo-Egyptian is all about the art of the Float!
